Thank you for visiting our website and we hope that you will find the information that you are looking for. The Parish of Penarth, All Saints covers the area to the residential west of the town of Penarth. We are an Anglican Parish and are part of the Church in Wales, the Diocese of Llandaff.

In October 2006, one of our Churches, St Luke's was closed. the Congregation now meet at All Saints at 9.15am.

This website was launched in 2004, since when, as you can see, we have had a few visitors. Most people click on to the news pages and we do our best to keep these up to date each week. This website also contains information of a more general kind concerning the life of the Church in this Parish. Once again we do our best to keep these pages up to date. For people with a little more time to browse we have some picture galleries.
The young man who set up our website is now in gainful employment and is only available to dig the rest of us out of the holes wevmake for ourselves by over reaching our technical abilities. This is why the Diary page is not kept up to date. Instead, a Diary page is included with the 'News'.

I hope that you become a frequent visitor to this site and if you have not already done so, that you find the presence of God at our Church services.

Peter Cox, Vicar. October 2007

Our Mission
Our aim, both individually and collectively, is to be and to do what Jesus sent us to be and to do in the world. Our Mission is to be a Christ centred community that ministers to the people of this parish by:
  • Enabling the worship of God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • Promoting God's Word to everyone, of all ages and backgrounds.

  • Helping people to find and follow Jesus in an ever-changing world.

  • Being a caring and sharing church community that sets an example in our wider local community.

Being a way through which the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit is released in our Parish and beyond.

Our Strategy

We recognise that we can only achieve our Mission by becoming a church that organises its life in such a way that, by God's grace, these things may become a reality. In particular we will:
  • Be welcoming to all, existing members and newcomers alike.

  • Ensure that our worship is broad-based, appealing to all worshippers.

  • Minister to children in such a way that their faith is nurtured as they grow into adulthood.

  • In partnership with other churches where appropriate, reach out to the community through service, meeting people where they are as well as inviting them into our buildings.

  • Care actively for all members of our church community and for those in the wider local community.

  • Be a prayerful church family that loves as Christ loves us, and strives for the spiritual growth and Christian nurture of all its members.

  • Deploy our resources effectively to maximise the potential for worship, spiritual growth and outreach in our Parish.
